1. Steel Grade Introduction
T91 / P91 is a ferritic heat resistant steel, by the oak ridge national laboratory in the 1970 s began to research and development, and in 1983 in ASME, our country in 1995 to the steel into the GB 5310 standard, brand as the 10 cr9mo1vnbT91 / P91 steel was 9 cr1mo (T9), on the basis of steel, the purity, fine crystallization metallurgy technology, as well as the micro alloying and controlled rolling and controlled cooling technology, developed a new generation of heat resistant steel alloy. The steel has good comprehensive mechanical properties, high temperature aging after stability, and the welding performance and process performance is good, suitable for high temperature compression part of materials.
