ASME SA106GrB steel pipe is a seamless carbon steel nominal pipe for high temperature use. The material has good mechanical properties. A106B steel pipe is equivalent to my country’s 20# steel seamless steel pipe, and implements ASTM A106/A106M high temperature service carbon steel seamless steel pipe standard, grade B. From the ASME B31.3 chemical plant and oil refinery pipeline standard, it can be seen that the use temperature range of A106 material is: -28.9~565℃.

According to ASTM The A106 standard requires that the mechanical properties of Grade B hot-rolled seamless steel pipes should meet the following requirements:
Mechanical properties: (tensile strength Rm ≥ 415MPa, yield strength ReL ≥ 240MPa, elongation ≥ 12%)
SA-106Gr.B seamless steel pipes have good welding performance. Due to the low C content, severe hardening of the structure will not usually occur due to welding. The plasticity and toughness of the welded joints are good. No special process measures are required during the entire welding process to obtain satisfactory welded joints.
